A 24-hour notice must be given if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason other than an emergency to accommodate the schedule and clients on the waitlist as much as possible. If services are not canceled 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will be invoiced for 50% of your groom (This fee is not a deposit, it is a fee for missing your appointment). The invoice will need to be paid within 48 hours in order to remain on the client list. If you are a new client and you do not show up for an appointment, we will not book you for a future appointment. As a courtesy we provide email and text reminders for your appointment. It is your responsibility as the customer to cancel or reschedule your appointment in a timely manner.
If there are multiple cancellations/reschedules, services will need to be prepaid before scheduling any future appointments. Prepaid appointments due to multiple cancellations/reschedules are non-refundable and this appointment cannot be changed. If you want to reschedule or do not show up this payment does not carry over.
If for any reason your appointment must be moved due to an emergency on my behalf, I will credit services appropriately with a percentage off. I understand emergencies arise for all parties and that is why I appreciate the cooperation of all who are involved.
Please be courteous and show up on time for your appointment. We are on a schedule and even getting 15 minutes behind can put all the other dogs on the schedule behind.
*There will be an extra charge added if you are more than 15 minutes late.
*If you are more than 20 minutes late you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
*If asked to reschedule your appointment you you will have to pay an inconvenience fee of 50% of your groom plus prepay for your next appointment (If you cancel or no show for a prepaid appointment the payment will not carry over).
*If you choose not to reschedule at that time you will not be scheduled for and appointment until all fees are paid.
Pricing varies according to each dog and is determined by breed, size, style, and the coat condition of your dog. At your appointment drop off we will confirm services and prices with you. Please take into consideration additional charges may apply due to behavior, de-matting, excessive coat, or flea treatment due to the additional time and products used to complete the service. If a change in price occurs you will be notified when you are called for pick-up.
If your dog requires an Express Service (groomed straight through no kennel time) there is an additional charge of $25 per hour. This service is reserved for dogs that are extremely anxious or dogs that cant's be crated (ex: biting, and excessively scratching kennel doors).
For the safety of all of the dogs that we serve, all clients must provide proof of current immunization for the Rabies vaccine from a veterinarian before being admitted for an appointment. Records can be emailed to email@example.com or brought to the salon.
Emergency Vet Care
Should any event require veterinary care, we reserve the right to seek immediate medical attention from the nearest available provider.
Refusal of Service
Pittsburgh Dog Spa reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason including, but not limited to, lack of proof of required vaccinations, display of aggressive behavior, or any apparent physical condition that poses a safety risk to that animal or others.
